A friend of mine joined the gym just few months before her wedding. She said she wanted to look awesome for her wedding. Well…she did look breathtakingly beautiful that day. Now, she is back from her honeymoon and thanks to God happily living with her husband and his family. My friend gives full credit to her trainer for making her look the way she is today. The time and money that she put in didn’t go to waste. But unfortunately not everyone is as lucky as she. There are good trainers as well as trainers who do not know what in the world they are doing. So when you decide to get a personal trainer don’t be fooled by those who aren’t. So how should you choose a personal fitness trainer? Someone out there suggested some unique criteria’s and I second that. This list does make complete sense.

•Physically good shaped trainer: Look for a trainer who looks in good shape and not for someone who is out-of-shape. The reason being if he cannot keep himself in shape how is he going to help you.

•Mental training and physical training credential: A person who has the ability to train a mind definitely has an ability to train the body because naturally a mind plays an important role in bringing about positive changes to the body and keeping those changes.

•Well Certified: It is essential that a trainer possesses certificates that are of an accredited course or from a reputable college just to make sure that he is quality fitness trainer with high quality exercise and nutrition knowledge.

•References: Ask the trainer about his past clients who have had positive results after training with him. You might just get to talk to them and see for yourself if he is worth the time and money that you are going to spend while hiring him.

•Progress records: make sure that the trainer keeps records of workout and not just choosing exercises for his clients and making them repeat it. He should writing down his instructions because if he has a number of clients he won’t be able to remember everyone’s routine. So watch the trainer closely before hiring.

These rules are simple and easy to follow. It should definitely give you an idea as to what your trainer should be like, what qualities and qualifications should he posses, what he should do and what he should not do.
